How do I play Games on Luckity.com? 

When you play games on Luckity.com, you can pick your lucky numbers by playing a game, entering your numbers yourself, or selecting a “quick pick.”  You will see a ticket with your numbers.  You will be able to review the numbers you have chosen before confirming your ticket.  Once you click “confirm” on a ticket, your numbers are confirmed and the required funds will be withdrawn from your account.  Your ticket is proof of the wager placed on your behalf by Luckity.  In order to play games on Luckity, you must register an account here.

How do I win on Luckity.com?

Each Luckity game generates a number or series of numbers that is placed into wagering pools on live horse races occurring all over the world.  If your play matches the winning number(s) determined by the horse race results, you win!

How are prizes determined on Luckity.com?

Your game plays on Luckity are placed into wagering pools on one or more live horse races occurring all over the world.  As a result, winning numbers and cash prize amounts are determined by the results of live horse races.  The specific wagering pool and race information for a given game can be found in the “How to Win” and “Race Info” tabs located within the “Game Details” on the game console.

Why do actual prizes vary by play?

Your Luckity game plays are placed into wagering pools on live horse races.  Pool wagering is a wagering system that takes all the money wagered on an event, minus a small operating fee, to establish a “prize pool.”  The actual prize paid to each winning ticket holder is calculated by dividing the total “prize pool” by the number of winning tickets.  For example, if there is $1 million in the prize pool and 100 winning tickets, each winning ticket holder will win a $10,000 prize.  Since both the prize pool and the number of winning tickets will vary by play, the prizes paid will also vary. 

What do Last Prize, Total Prizes Today, Total Prizes Last Week, and Total Prizes last 30 Days Mean?

Last Prize indicates the amount of the last prize paid to each winning ticket holder for the game indicated. 

Total Prizes Today indicates the sum of each prize amount paid to a winning ticket for a given game during the day.

Total Prizes Last Week indicates the sum of each prize amount paid to a winning ticket for a given game during the last week.

Total Prizes Last 30 Days  indicates the sum of each prize amount paid to a winning ticket for a given game during the last thirty days.

Note all prizes paid information is based on a $1 or $2 base play. 

What is pool wagering?

Pool wagering is a wagering system that takes all the money wagered on an event, minus a small operating fee, to establish a “prize pool.”  The actual prize paid to each winning ticket holder is calculated by dividing the total “prize pool” by the number of winning tickets.  For example, if there is $1 million in the prize pool and 10,000 winning tickets, each winning ticket holder will win a $100 prize.    Since both the prize pool and the number of winning tickets will vary by play, the prizes paid will also vary. 

How are the odds determined for each game?

In a pool wagering system, the odds are determined by the amount of money wagered on a given selection compared to the total amount wagered on all possible selections.  For example, if $100 is wagered on particular selection and $1,000 is wagered in total on all possible selections, the odds of the particular selection will be 10 to 1.  Odds vary as more money is wagered, but only the final odds posted after the close of the wagering pool will determine the actual prize paid.    

What are my odds of winning?

Your odds of winning are dependent on the actual race or races in which your wager is placed.  Odds will vary depending on the type of game you play, the number of horse races associated with the game, the number of horses in the race, and other factors.  You can find information on the pool betting odds for each game by clicking on the “Game Details” tab and selecting Race Info.  It is important to remember that a horse’s popularity and odds does not necessarily mean it will win a race.

What is a Rainbow game?

 

Some Jackpot games have a unique type of jackpot called a rainbow.  In a rainbow jackpot, the winning ticket will only be considered valid if there is only one ticket with those exact numbers.  This is different than a typical jackpot in which multiple people with the same numbers on their tickets can share a winning jackpot.  So if the winning numbers in a rainbow jackpot have been chosen by more than one person, then the entire jackpot rolls over into an even bigger amount.

Why can’t I select some of the numbers when I play a game? 

Since Luckity games are based on live horse races, sometimes a horse doesn’t compete in a race as scheduled.  When this happens, the number of the horse is “scratched” from the game and will not show up as a number you can select.  In this case, your play will either be refunded or moved to the “favorite” (the entry with the most wagers) as stipulated by the racetrack conducting the given race.  For more information, click HERE.

When do wagers need to be placed?

You can buy a ticket any time before the Time Left to Play hits zero!  However, to avoid being shut out, we recommend that you confirm your tickets as early as possible.

Are transactions confidential?

All ticket purchases and transactions are completely confidential.

Is it possible to cancel a ticket I purchased?

Tickets cannot be cancelled once they have been confirmed.  When you play games on Luckity, you will receive a ticket with your numbers.  You will be able to review the numbers you have chosen before submitting your ticket.  Once you click “confirm” on a ticket, your numbers are confirmed. 

What happens when a horse on my ticket scratches?

 Luckity follows the rules in the jurisdiction where the host track is located. Luckity.com will provide refunds or assign other draws in accordance with the host track's policies for handling scratches. The decision of the host track is final.

 

In many jurisdictions the following rules apply:

Single Draw Wagers:

Win - Place - Show: If the runner scratches, then the money will be refunded after the draw goes official.

Exacta: If one or more of your selected horses are scratched, you will receive a refund for the wager(s) involving the scratched play(s).

Trifecta: If one or more of your selected horses are scratched, you will receive a refund for the wager(s) involving the scratched plays(s).

Superfecta: If one or more of your selected horses are scratched, you will receive a refund for the wager(s) involving the scratched play(s).

Super Hi-5: If one or more of your selected horses are scratched, you will receive a refund for the wager(s) involving the scratched play(s).

Multiple Draw Wagers:

Daily Double: If you selected the winner of the first leg and the selected play in the second leg is scratched, you will receive a consolation double prize.

Pick 3: At most tracks, if the Player's horse is scratched BEFORE the first leg is run, the Player will receive a refund. If your wager is still live going into the second or third leg and the selected horse is scratched, you will receive a consolation prize provided that your wager wins the other two legs.

Pick N: At most tracks, if the Player's horse is scratched in ANY LEG, the Player will receive the post time favorite as a substitute for each scratched runner in each leg. If you have the post time favorite included in your wager and have more than one horse included in that leg, and one or more of the selected horses are scratched, you will receive the post time favorite for each horse that scratched. In other words, you may have placed the wager only once using the post time favorite, but if any number of your other selections in that leg is scratched, you will receive the post time favorite for each horse scratched in lieu of the horse(s) in his wager.

What happens if the race results in a tie?
In the event that the official race results declare a tie the prize is determined in accordance with the specific rules for that track.  The general rule is that wagers for both horses share the respective pools equally.

What happens if a race is cancelled?
If a race is cancelled your wager will be adjusted in accordance with the track rules for that wager type.  In most cases, money wagered on that race will be refunded into your account.

My wager changed after I made it. What happened?

Sometimes in horse racing, a horse scheduled to compete in a race will be scratched from the race before it begins.  If you have already placed a wager that includes that horse, the ticket will be changed based on the rules at that track concerning scratches.  The ticket will usually either be cancelled or the scratched horse will be replaced with the current favorite for that race.  For more information on this see What happens when a horse in my wager gets scratched?

How will I know if I won money?

You can see the results of your wagers by clicking on the Results tab at the top of the page.  All of your completed wagers will show up here.  Please allow a few minutes after the race for official results to be posted.

How long will it take for winnings to show up on my account?

Your wager log will update a few minutes after the race results are official.

How do I open an account with Luckity.com?

Click "Create an Account" and provide the information required to create the account. Once the account has been created, you will need to add funds to the account. Luckity.com requires the following to open a wagering account:

Who can play on Luckity.com?

You must be at least 18 years of age (except in Washington, Iowa, Texas, New Hampshire, New Mexico, and North Dakota where residents must be at least 21 years of age and Alabama residents must be at least 19 years of age)  and a resident of a state where Luckity.com is available. Luckity.com reserves the right to deny the request to open an account or to close an account for any reason.

What personal information do I need to provide?

When registering a new account, Luckity is required to collect certain “Personal Information” in order to verify your identity, prevent fraud, and ensure that you are of legal age before you can use the site.  Additionally, this information is required in order to comply with the Oregon Racing Commission.

Is my personal information safe?

Yes. Luckity does not give out your Personal Information to any third party for uses not described as normal business operations.

We use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information during your online interactions with Luckity. We utilize procedures to protect confidential information off-line, as well. Generally, we restrict access to your Personal Information to employees who need the information to perform a specific task for you. Our employees use password-protected screen-savers to protect against loss when they leave their desk. The servers which hold personally identifiable information are maintained in a locked, secure hosting environment.

What do you need my personal information for?

We may use your Personal Information to fulfill the purpose for which you provide it to us, including, but not limited to verifying your identity and to fulfill your wagering activity.

Luckity reserves the right to use your Personal Information in order to ensure that wagering activity on our site meets various state and federal laws and other statutory requirements. How long does it take to set up an account?

You can be ready to play on Luckity.com as soon as your information is verified and funds have been deposited.

How much does it cost to use Luckity.com?

There are no special or hidden fees to play on Luckity.  If an account has no activity for a period of nine months, Luckity may charge a minimal account maintenance fee.

How do I make deposits to my account?

To make your initial deposit, see the options under "Manage Your Account." A deposit can be made: (1) by using EZmoney which draws funds from your checking or money market account, or (2) by using a Green Dot MoneyPak which can be purchased at over 50,000 retailers nationwide, or (3) by Credit/Debit Card (if gambling transactions are permitted by your banking institution).  We recommend using EZmoney, Luckity’s free and easy method for depositing and withdrawing funds. What credit and debit cards can I use to deposit?

MasterCard and Visa are accepted for online deposits including debit cards which carry one of those logos.  In addition, MasterCard and Visa cards are also accepted for phone in deposits. Phone in deposits are processed through Global Cash and carry a 4.5% transaction fee and are processed as a cash advance. Online deposits are processed as "purchases" however some credit card banks may treat them as cash advances. We cannot be responsible if your bank treats an online deposit as a cash advance. Credit and debit card deposits may also be phoned in to Player Services at 855-LUCKITY (855.582.5489) 9:00 a.m. to Midnight Eastern.

What does it cost to deposit money?

We recommend using EZmoney to deposit money in your account because it is easy and totally free.  There is a $5.00 per transaction fee for credit/debit card transactions processed online and 4.5% fee for credit/debit card transactions processed over the telephone.

Are there credit card deposit limits?

Yes. There is a minimum of $1 and a maximum limit of $500 on your initial credit card deposit. Please note these limits do not apply to deposits by debit card, bank wire transfer, money order, cashier's check or personal check.

Why is my credit card being declined?

If you are declined for any reason, a message will appear on the screen with the reason for the decline. One common reason for a credit card decline by the credit card issuing bank  is address verification. On the "Add More Funds Electronically" page, the fields will automatically be filled in with the account information including address. If the address on your credit card billing is different, you will need to change the information in the address fields to match your credit card billing address.

I am receiving a "Transaction Result #12 Declined" message and I know my card is good. What is causing this decline message?

Our credit card processing system has been returning declined transactions at a higher rate than normal with this message. Many credit card issuing banks have decided to ban online credit card transactions for Internet gambling.

We highly recommend the use of EZmoney for deposits as there are no fees for this service. You may also call Player Services toll-free at 855-LUCKITY (855.582.5489) 9:00 a.m. to Midnight Eastern to make a deposit over the telephone.

Deposits over the telephone are processed by Global Cash, and may be charged as a cash advance to your credit card. The service fee is 4.5%, but you may be charged an additional cash advance fee by your bank.

When will deposits be added to my account?

Deposits will show in your account immediately after the deposit is confirmed.

How do I get my free $10 registration bonus?

New Luckity players that play at least $10 can earn a $10 bonus.  Players must register on Luckity.com, deposit at least $10, and play at least $10 to be eligible for the $10 bonus.  For more information on the $10 bonus click here.

Why can't I access my account (login, account balance, wagering etc.) at certain times?

For maintenance reasons these features may be disabled between 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. Eastern. Why does my account balance show as "N/A"?

For maintenance reasons, your account balance is not available between 2:00 am and 5:00 am Eastern time.   If a problem persists outside of this time period, please let us know by contacting Player Services toll-free at 855-LUCKITY (855.582.5489) 9:00 a.m. to Midnight Eastern.

How do I withdraw funds?

To request a withdrawal, go to "Manage Your Account" and click on "Withdraw Funds".  Luckity.com offers two methods for easy withdrawal: EZmoney and check.  Once you have made a successful deposit through EZmoney you can withdraw and have the winnings transferred directly to your bank account.  You must withdraw a minimum of $25 in order to withdraw using EZmoney.  You can also make a withdrawal by requesting a check from our Player Services team at 855-LUCKITY (855.582.5489) 9:00 a.m. to Midnight Eastern.

Can I have my winnings transferred to my bank account?

Members who have completed the documentation for EZmoney and have made a successful deposit may make a withdrawal via EZmoney.  The funds are sent directly to your checking account.

How do I dispute a miscalculation?

Call Player Services toll-free at 855-LUCKITY (855.582.5489) 9:00 a.m. to Midnight Eastern and speak to a Player Services Representative.

What information is Luckity.com required by law to give the IRS concerning account activity?

Luckity.com is required to report to the IRS on Form W2-G all wagering transactions which return a payoff of $600 or more in gambling winnings if such winnings are at least 300 times the amount of the wager. Luckity.com will also withhold funds at the standard IRS rate of 25% from wagers where the aggregate total proceeds of identical bets exceeds $5,000 and if the winnings are at least 300 times the amount of the wager.

What happens if I forget my password?

Your password is required for you to access your account. Should you forget your password, you must contact Player Services toll-free at 855-LUCKITY (855.582.5489) 9:00 a.m. to Midnight Eastern as soon as possible for a replacement. As an added security feature, your account will be disabled upon 3 failed attempts to login. Player Services does not have access to customer's password information.

How can I change the information in my profile?

You can change your password or pin by clicking on your name at the top of the page.  Any requests that we correct, update, or remove your information in our databases, should be done so by following these steps:

What is Luckity.com's Refer-A-Friend Program?
Luckity.com's Refer-A-Friend Bonus is an incentive program for Luckity.com members. Members earn $20 for each friend they refer who opens a wagering account and meets the designated criteria.

How do I refer a friend?
To refer your friends, simply go to www.Luckity.com/refer-a-friend/ , where you can enter the First and Last name and email addresses of your friends. Your friends will be sent a referral email and given a special referral code to enter when they sign up with Luckity.com.

What are the rules on spamming?
Luckity.com's referral program is meant to encourage people to introduce the benefits of Luckity.com to their friends. It is not intended to encourage spam. Anyone who is found to have spammed other Internet users in an attempt to gain referral bonuses will lose their Refer-A-Friend privileges. 

What does my friend need to do for me to receive a Refer-A-Friend Bonus?
The steps are as follows:

  • Which of my friends are eligible?
    To be eligible to receive referral bonus(es) you must be a member of Luckity, with an active account. When do I receive my credits?

The screen is getting cutoff when I am on Luckity.com, What do I do?

It is likely that your computer monitor is not set to the proper resolution.  For best results, your Display Setting (monitor) should be set to at least 1024 x 768 pixels.  To change this on Windows computers, right click on your desktop, select Properties.  Then, select Display Properties.  Set the resolution on your monitor to a minimum of 1024x768.  On a Mac computer, visit Display Properties and set a minimum of 1024x768.

Do you support cable modems, ISDN, ADSL and T-1?

Yes. Connection speed is dependent on your access provider, but high-speed internet connections are not required to access the Luckity.com service.

Do you support America Online?

Users of AOL version 4.0 and higher should experience no difficulty using the Luckity.com system. Users of AOL version 3.0 or earlier will not be able to access the wagering and account maintenance portions of the web site.

Are any specific browsers or software required?

We support the latest versions of Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, and Chrome.

Your Internet browser must support Secure Socket Layer encryption and Java Script, to access the wagering and account maintenance portions of the website. Most currently available browsers are acceptable, including Internet Explorer and Netscape. For best results, your Display Setting (monitor) should be set at 1024 x 768 pixels.

There is no special software needed to use Luckity.com. You will however, need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed in order to view certain forms and reports. You can download the FREE Adobe Acrobat Reader here.

I have an Apple computer. Can I use Luckity.com?

Yes, you can use Luckity.com with your Mac using the Safari or Firefox browsers. To enable live video and draw replays through the Media Player you will also need to have the Flip4Mac plugin installed. You can download the FREE Flip4Mac plugin here.

I have an older PC. What are the minimum PC requirements for using Luckity.com?

In order to use Luckity.com you need a computer with an Internet connection faster than 56K. Please also make sure your Display Setting (monitor) is set at 1024 x 768 pixels.

What type of security does Luckity.com account wagering use?

Information Security is a core part of Luckity’s policies and practices.  Our Information Security program is designed to keep sensitive information about our players secure.

The Luckity.com website is protected by the following methods:

  • Encryption: Luckity.com provides a 128-bit secure browser to login to customer accounts and perform transactions. Luckity uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) to ensure that any sensitive data entered into the web site is encrypted. You may look for the letters "https://" at the beginning of the website URL in your web browser. The "s" means that the web connection is secure.
  • UserID and Password: To access your account, you must provide a unique user ID and a password. The password must meet a minimum strength requirement to that is it not easy for someone to guess.
  • Session Timeout: Luckity.com uses a time-out feature to log customers off their account after a specified amount of inactivity. This reduces the risk of others accessing your account from an unattended computer.
  • Perimeter Defense: Luckity.com is protected by firewalls and other intrusion detection mechanisms. The firewalls are configured to reject unauthorized connections. We continually monitor our defense systems to detect any attempted intrusions or unauthorized connections.
  • Independent Security Audit: Luckity.com employs an independent third party organization to perform a comprehensive verification test to validate our security defenses.

Why don't I see the closed padlock in my browser indicating the site is secure?

Encryption keys are used to secure your transactions. This site uses frames to display both secure and non-secure pages (such as this FAQ page) in a manner to maximize the online experience. When both secure and non-secure items are presented online in frames, the closed padlock will not appear in your browser. This is a normal occurrence.

Is my personal account information secure?

All personal account information is strictly confidential and stored in secure servers. No information will be submitted to any other entity without a legally binding subpoena or order. This includes all wagering information.

What protection do I have from others using my account?

Luckity.com has taken substantial efforts to protect its customer's information. However, it is important that you take an active role in protecting your personal computer and account log on information. We ask that you take some time and review the security suggestions provided below:

  • Protect your password. Never share your password with anyone. We also recommend that you change your password on a regular basis. If you feel that your password has been compromised, change the password and notify Player Services as soon as possible toll-free at 855-LUCKITY (855.582.5489) 9:00 a.m. to Midnight Eastern.
  • Use AntiVirus and Firewall Software. It is recommended that an antivirus product be installed and updated on a regular basis to ensure that your system is checked for the latest viruses on an ongoing basis. It is important to check all downloaded software and emails for viruses.
  • Logoff the Web Site. When you have finished your transactions, it is important that you click the "Logoff" button. If you are using a public personal computer it is recommended that you also close the browser when you are finished.

May I access my account from someplace other than my own computer?

Yes, you may access your Luckity account from any computer that has an Internet connection as long as you have your Account # and PIN.

May my friend’s use my account?

Your Account # and PIN protect your account. You must not permit anyone else to access the service through your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Account # and PIN. Luckity.com assumes all wagers made through your Account # and PIN are authorized by the account holder who must be 18 years of age and a U.S. resident living in a state where account wagering is legal.

I do not want to receive emails from Luckity.com anymore.  How do I unsubscribe?
